Sharks Programming Schedule

Programming for the Fall/Winter 2024-2025 season will take place at a the High School of Science and Technology pool from September 9th, 2024 through the end of January, 2025 (with the exception of away meets). We will have pre-season activities from September 9th through September 27th. We will have regular season activities from September 30th through the end of January, with the specific end date dependent on when our league sets the Championships meets.

Preseason Activities (Monday 9/9 - Friday 9/27):

Competitive Try-Outs: 5:30pm - 6:00pm
Learn-to-Swim:
- Session 1A: 6:05pm - 6:35pm
- Session 1B: 6:40pm - 7:10pm
Pre-Season Clinics for Returning Sharks: 7:15pm - 8:30pm
- Starts and Turns Clinic: Monday, 9/9 through Friday, 9/13
- Springboard Diving Clinic: Monday 9/16 through Friday 9/20
- Individualized Training 1: Monday, 9/16 through Friday, 9/20
- Individualized Training 2: Monday, 9/23 through Friday, 9/27

Regular Season Activities (Begin Monday 4/22):

Learn-to-Swim: 5:30pm - 6:00pm
- Session 2: Monday, September 30th through Friday, October 25th
- Session 3: Monday, October 28th through Tuesday, June 28th
Level 1 Practice: 5:50pm - 7:10pm
Level 2 Practice: 5:50pm - 7:10pm
Level 3 Practice: 6:50pm - 8:40pm
Level 4 Practice: 6:50pm - 8:40pm

Pre-Season activities, Learn-to-Swim and all practice groups meet Monday through Friday with the exception of the following federal holidays and Springfield Public Schools professional development days:

Central High School Open House: Tuesday, September 17th (Note: most of the coaching staff are also teachers at Central)
Indigenous Peoples' Day/Columbus Day: Monday, October 14th
SPS Professional Development Day: Tuesday, November 5th
Veterans Day: Monday, November 11th
Thanksgiving Break: Wednesday, November 27th - Friday, November 29th
Holiday Break: Friday, December 20th - Wednesday, January 1st
SPS Professional Development Day: Monday, January 6th
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day: Monday, January 20th

Please see our competition schedule posted below. Please note that time trials dates for 10 and under and 11 and up are included and that we are still working on potentially scheduling an Intra-Squad meet during our Bye meet date of November 23rd. Please also note that our league is still finalizing details for Championships. All updates will be posted to our schedule as soon as they are finalized.
